“Each time my copy of Annals arrives, I open it immediately! I’m very eager to read the various articles that contain something of interest for all psychotherapists. While I appreciate the articles on newer, cutting-edge topics such as life coaching, professional writing, and working with the media, I can also be certain that more traditional subjects are included. Because of the diversity of articles and the format of Annals, I’m inclined to read it and share it with other colleagues!” --Anne D. Gooding, Ph.D., DSW, CSW, DAPA |
"Psychotherapy has become an endangered species, devalued and de-professionalized in our society. The APA dedicates its resources to uplifting this healing art form to the status it deserves. As a professional organization it strives to protect psychotherapy from the multitude of forces currently hostile to its development."
--James F. Zender, Ph.D., DAPA
