Continuing Education: Journal Learning

Imagine! You can be earning CE credit to maintain your APA Diplomate status or use toward a license requirement from the comfort of your home or office -- at your own pace -- when it’s convenient for you!
The Annals® has an exciting new opportunity for you to earn continuing education credit by simply reading specific manuscripts published in the journal or here on the website. APA is accredited by the various agencies to offer continuing education credits through journal learning.

In order to receive CE credit, each participant is required to:

Read the indicated featured article.

Complete the exam by filling in the box next to chosen answer for each multiple-choice question. Be sure to answer all questions and to give only one response per question unless otherwise stated in the question. Incomplete questions will be marked as incorrect. This is an open book exam.

Complete the evaluation form.

Mail or fax the original or a photocopy of the signed exam page and the completed evaluation form for each article that credit is requested for, along with a $25.00 fee for members; $35 for non members to:

American Psychotherapy Association
Attn: CE Department
2750 East Sunshine
Springfield, MO 65804.

If the exam is passed with a grade of 75 percent or above, a certificate of completion for 1.0 continuing education credit will be mailed. The participants that do not pass the course are notified as such and have a second opportunity to complete the assignment.

Any questions, grievances or comments can be directed to the CE Department at telephone (417) 823-0173, fax (417) 823-9959, or email: [email protected].
