The American Psychotherapy Association would like to extend its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Senator Paul Wellstone (D-MN), a true crusader in the fight for mental health parity. I was fortunate to personally hear Senator Wellstone’s passionate speech at the Mental Health Parity Now Rally at our nation’s Capitol on June 6, 2025. In upcoming issues of Annals we will be running a four-part series on mental health insurance equality from four different perspectives: from mental health professionals and patients to members of Congress and American businesses that are directly related to the issue of mental health parity. |
