We have the momentum on our side and we feel confident we will establish equal insurance coverage by the end of 2025, but we need your help. You have a sample letter in your May/June issue of Annals, which you can use on your letterhead to send to your Representative if they do not already support H.R. 4066.

This legislation is extremely important to you as a mental health professional. H.R. 4066 will help ensure that your clients are receiving the insurance coverage they deserve.

Action #1: Use the toll-free Parity Hotline, 1-866-PARITY4 (1-866-727-4894), to call the House Republican Leadership and urge Floor action on the Mental Health Equitable Treatment Act.

Action #2: Use the Parity Hotline, 1-866-PARITY4, to call previous parity supporters who have not yet cosponsored H.R. 4066. These 12 Representatives supported the Senate-passed mental health parity amendment last year in the Labor-HHS appropriations conference. H.R. 4066 has the same text.
