APA offers continuing education to members through Journal Learning, Conferences, and Online CE.
CE Credits are based on approvals and accreditations currently held by the American Psychotherapy Association’s sister association the American College of Forensic Examiners International:
Requirements APA members who became Diplomates after October 2001 are strongly encouraged to obtain 15 continuing education credits each year to maintain Diplomate status.

CE credits are not required the year you receive the certification. The CE credit reporting period begins the first January after you receive the certification.
